FA 101: THE TACTICAL SHOTGUN – 3 days
Like FA101, Law Enforcement Shotgun is the course for the individual wanting to develop solid, practical shooting skill with one of the most misunderstood weapon systems available to the law enforcement, military and security professional. The Shotgun training program includes topics on safety, nomenclature, the firing process, carrying the shotgun and use of the sling, shotgun maintenance, shooting fundamentals, ready positions, managing recoil, tactical reloading, stoppages, multiple shots, and multiple targets. FA 102: TACTICAL PISTOL – 3 days Tactical Pistol develops the “must know” skills required by the law enforcement, military and security professional that build a solid foundation in the use of the pistol. Students are presented foundation information on safety, nomenclature, the firing process, maintenance, shooting fundamentals, loading and unloading, drawing the weapon and use of the holster, tactical reloading, dealing with stoppages, multiple shots, and multiple targets. FA 103: PATROL RIFLE Coming Soon! FA 104: THE REVOLVER – 3 days If you want to learn what’s needed to develop a solid understanding of the “wheel” gun and how to use it, then The Revolver is the course for you. This course covers topics including: safety, nomenclature, shooting fundamentals, drawing the weapon and use of the holster, and issues related to reloading. In Development CI 101: VEHICLE THEFT INVESTIGATION FOR THE PATROL OFFICER – 1 day This is the foundation. Vehicle Theft Investigation For The Patrol Officer provides the patrol officer & detective with the “must know” information needed to successfully detect, seize, and positively identify stolen vehicles. Attendees learn the keys to detecting stolen vehicles, VIN construction, how to positively identify vehicles, interviewing techniques, and legal issues relating to vehicle theft investigation are all included in this full day of training. In addition, attendees receive information regarding assembled vehicles and branded title vehicles. CI 102: SPECIALTY VEHICLES THEFT INVESTIGATION Specialty Vehicles examines the problems associated with the theft of “Specialty Vehicles” in a single day format. Attendees learn how to spot altered or re-stamped identification numbers, alternative methods of identification, and other investigative techniques relating to the theft and concealment of stolen motorcycles, snowmobiles, ATV’s, and personal watercraft. CI103: HEAVY EQUIPMENT AND TRACTOR / TRAILER INVESTIGATION Heavy Equipment and Tractor Trailer Investigation – a single day program that provides essential information on these high dollar items that are oftentimes overlooked by patrol officers. Attendees learn the basics of detection and identification relevant to these vehicles as well as examining the problems associated with the theft of heavy / agricultural equipment. CI 201: MARINE THEFT INVESTIGATION Marine Theft Investigation, this full day program is the advanced program that focuses on the investigation and recovery of stolen watercraft. Marine theft is big business and the untrained investigator / patrol officer can easily miss the keys to positively identifying and recovering stolen watercraft. Attendees learn information related to the Hull Identification Number system, marine engine identification, personal watercraft identification, and Documented Vessels. In addition, case studies are presented and discussed, which develop investigative technique. CI 202: CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT THEFT INVESTIGATION Construction Equipment Theft Investigation is the single day program for those focusing on the investigation and successful prosecution of construction / agricultural equipment theft. Attendees learn information related to the Product Identification Number as well as study the various manufacturers products unique characteristics that can assist the investigator in detecting stolen equipment that has been altered to disguise its true identity. In addition, attendees learn the key points to look for in the positive identification of any piece of heavy equipment. Examination of several cases helps put it all together. CI 203: MOTORCYCLE THEFT INVESTIGATION Motorcycle Theft Investigation – This full day program takes the investigator to the next level in the successful investigation of stolen motorcycles. Attendees are presented essential information related to both Harley Davidson and foreign / import motorcycles. Attendees learn the VIN construction formats of the various manufacturers, engine identification, as well as other key points available to positively identify the “Hog” and “Metric” motorcycle. CI 204: VEHICLE ARSON INVESTIGATION Vehicle Arson Investigation is designed to provide attendees with the information and techniques necessary to deal with the problems associated with the positive identification of vehicles that have been burned. CI 301: VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION SPECIALIST The Vehicle Identification Specialist is the in-depth program designed to provide technical information to the law enforcement officer newly assigned to an auto theft team, or given agency responsibility for the examination of vehicles suspected of being stolen, their true identities concealed, or vehicles needing re-certification that may contain stolen parts used in the reconstruction or assembly process. Vehicle Identification Specialist is a full week focused on learning the techniques used to conduct a proper vehicle examination and the key points necessary to positively identify automobiles, light duty trucks, motorcycles, ATV’s, snowmobiles, watercraft, semi-tractors, trailers, and heavy equipment. Examination methodology is explored as well as the development of investigative reports based on the identification information obtained from an examination.
