Ken Tassie – Ken is a 23-year veteran of the Michigan State Police, retiring from the department in January 2002 as a D/Sgt. in charge of the Washtenaw Area Auto Theft Team. In addition, Ken was assigned to the Ordnance and Marksmanship Training Unit as the department’s Primary Firearms Instructor. Ken also was assigned to the Criminal Intelligence Unit, Tri-County Metro Narcotics Squad and served on the departments’ tactical team.

  Ken’s 36-year career in public service also includes service as a sheriff department marine deputy, municipal reserve officer, and emergency medical technician with both municipal and private emergency medical services. 

  Ken is the Founder of TRIDENT PERFORMANCE GROUP LLC, an adjunct staff instructor at Washtenaw Community College – Public Service Training and maintains state licensing as a deputy sheriff with the Livingston County Sheriff Dept.
